The name ALEXANDER is derived from the Greek name Alexandros ‘Αλέξανδρος’ which meant "man defender " from Greek ‘alexo’ «αλέξω» "to defend, help to protect" and ‘aner’ «ανήρ» "man" (later Greek ‘andras’ «άνδρας»). With other words Alexander means "protector of mankind". Then name is used for first time in the Trojan War. Paris had the name Alexandros.
