PRAYERS ARE NEEDED FOR A DEAR FRIEND AND MEMBER

This message goes out to all my friend in the Ning Platform.

A very good friend of us and very active member in many communities, Catherine Mascrès, needs our prayers and our support. Here is the message I got from as a reply in the topic The Name Mary:

Mary was a pure mother of a unique child. She treasured him. He was her most prominent achievment. Thank you for all this Philoxenia, it is beautiful.
But, I do not know where to place myself to say this, to ask for this. My name is Catherine and I have two children. I am far from being holy, nor are my kids. However, the eldest, a mere seventeen stole my car keys last night and went for a smart drive with a friend, instead of going to bed and be fit for his driving lesson. They both ended up in hospital (which are half on strike, these days as life is hard everywhere). The friend is Thanks God ok and returned to his mom shocked enough maybe to get his life changed for the better, but my son has been moved to another hospital in a critical brain damage condition. There is a five day gap where he might survive or not. I'm asking...for some prayers, for some positive thoughts with no judging towards him. I will be offline for a while (in hospital, by his full of tubes side), they refused me today...maybe to give me the chance to build this wall of care with all you help. Thank you. Ami. Cath

All mothers get anxious when something bad happens to their children. The pain a mother feels is many times not easy to understand if you are a man, but we are all sensitive.

Please stay close to our friend and send her your prayers, give courage and support, and wish her son soon to recover and be back to normal life.

THE PRAYER OF PRAYERS to our Most Holy Lady Theotokos
Dear Catherine there is a Holy Mother who cares for all of us.

Theotokos literally translated means "The One who bore God" or "the God bearer" which is much more accurate and profound than "Mother of God." Theotokos actually has no English equivalent, and is a title for Mary, and as such it should not be translated. "Theotokos" is theologically more significant and better describes the significance of Mary's role.

I will go there and remain by him until he gets back to consciousness (at least 5 days). Thank you for all you do. It is much appreciated. A shared pain is always less.
